Jessalyn Gilsig tells People that her dream guest star on Glee would be Bette Midler.
“Bette Midler should be on the show,” said Gilsig, who plays Terri Schuester, at the Costume Design Guild Awards Thursday. “I’d want her to be my aunt or something. You can imagine Bette Midler as a kid. She must have been one of these Glee kids. She must have been so misunderstood and struggled so much, but she’s driven the same way Rachel is driven. I think she would be a good fit.”

Is Jessalyn Gilsig giving us some spoilery scoop, or is she just a woman scorned? She tells E! Online’s Watch with Kristen about Will Schuester’s “whore”ing ways in the coming episode.
When asked which lucky lady Mr. Schue might be getting busy with, Jessalyn tells us, “Everybody.”
A ‘ho fo’ sho’! (But a damn fine one.)
Since Matt and Jessalyn just told us about their rebooted love triangle—or lack thereof—we grilled her on the important things, like where’s Terri’s new man?
“It’s all switching up,” Jessalyn says with a laugh. “Terri was supposed to be so awful. But Terri was driven by love, and it turns out that Will is a whore. Lets just say Terri was right.”
Right or not, Jessalyn teases that while Terri and Will are done for now, she’s by no means finished with Emma (Jayma Mays). “You know Terri, can’t keep her down! She’s going to make some trouble. It’s not over; it’s never over—especially with that redhead,” she laughs. “There’s just no way I’m letting her go. Terri’s going to stir this pot some more.”
“I’m gonna sing!” Gilsig gushes. We tried to get her to tell us what song she’ll be performing and with which castmembers, but it sounds like a solo number that’s not part of the Madonna episode. “I wish! Madonna didn’t greenlight me,” she jokes. “It is so unexpected that when Ryan told me, I was like ‘Yay, I’m singing,’ then he told [what song] and I was like ‘What?!’ It was one of the hardest songs I’ve ever sung.” Her number comes with dance moves, too!
E! Online’s Watch with Kristen got a chance to chat with Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester) and Jessalyn Gilsig (Terri Schuester) about the upcoming romantic storylines involving their characters. Is this marriage kaput for sure? Who’s moving on and who’s not? Read on to see.
So will Will and Emma live happily ever after when we return for Glee, Volume II: The Road to Regionals? Probably not. Matthew Morrison tells us, “Things are on the outs for me and Terri, but she’s still gonna come back and try and ruin my life, I’m sure. And we’ll see. I might be with Emma, might have some other possible love interests.” What?! Wasn’t the love polygon complicated enough when Emma was canoodling with Coach Tanaka (Patrick Gallagher)?
Separate from any new ladies in Mr. Schuester’s life, Gilsig (love her, love to hate Terri) concurs that the love triangle—and the Schuester relationship—is not done, not by a long shot. She says, “It’s not over! He was married to me, and still kissed [Emma]! But I’m not going anywhere. You think that’s enough to get rid of Terri? That’s just a minor glitch in her determination to get him back. That’s not enough to throw me off, no way. Have you seen that redhead? I could take her like that. [Snaps.] I’m definitely not giving up without another fight.”
Still, there’s hope that Emma and Will might at least get a little together time before Terri interrupts their happiness again. How so? Morrison says, “I’m not wearing my wedding ring, so…[Laughs.]” So yay!
No matter what, the stars promise us that there is tons more Glee goodness to come. Gilsig says, “I think the [fans] are going to be happy…just when you think we’ve all been put in our boxes, suddenly you learn something new about every character. So, it really feels like a fresh season, even though we’re midway through the first season.”
Of Glee I Sing
