Previous TIME 100 Appearances: 0Michele made her Broadway debut at age 8 and won rabid fans as Wendla in the Tony Award–winning Broadway production of Spring Awakening. She hit it big in 2009 as the perky perfectionist Rachel Berry on Fox’s breakout high-school-musical comedy Glee, which has drawn a cult following of up to 8 million viewers a week and sent song after song rocketing to the top of the iTunes download chart. In May, Michele will lead the cast in a four-city concert tour.
